This amounts to the largest tax increase in American history under the guise of climate change.
I haven’t had a chance to wade through this entire bill, but then, neither have any of the members of Congress.
I have heard but have not confirmed that one of the provisions of this bill will require houses to be ‘energy compliant’ PRIOR to being sold.

Think about that for a couple minutes.

OK just confirmed... it is in the Bill. There is another provision on building new homes too. I will get to that later.

The Bill requires sellers to bring their homes up to current energy efficiency government set standards before they can sell their homes. And you thought the market was bad now; just wait until sellers realize they cannot afford to make the required upgrades, mandated by Congress, before they can sell their homes.

Appraisers will have to be further certified to ensure they understand the new government mandated standards. Town and counties will be required to have zoning officials trained in the new compliance standards.

This is the most unimaginable over-reaching of the Federal Government that I have ever seen in my lifetime. It will increase costs for every family, every farmer, and every business. It will cost jobs and raise costs.

Once you understand what this bill (passed by the democratically controlled congress) will do to further cripple the economy of the United States; I trust you will see the importance of electing strong conservative leadership at the state level.


This bill will have a very negative effect on the coal industry in Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, and Kentucky. It will have a negative impact on all of our residents as all energy types prices rise. The price of electricity would increase all across America. We will lose more jobs then any created by the so called unsustainable ‘green’ jobs could provide. It makes no sense.

All of this for the fallacy of ‘man made’ global warming.
