Saturday Morning Mischief...

Troubles Ahead? Fog Maybe?

Obama has refused to disclose the vault copy of his Hawaiian birth certificate. This raises the question whether he himself has established that he is eligible to be President. To date, no state or federal election official, nor any government authority, has verified that he ever established conclusively that he meets the eligibility standard under the Constitution. If the burden of proof were on him, perhaps as it should be for the highest office of any individual in America, the more-than-dozen lawsuits challenging his eligibility would be unnecessary.

American Thinker thinks it could be bigger than Watergate -- or any other "gate" in American history?

Morning Stroll and a Thought

The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of ‘liberalism’ they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without knowing how it happened. - My my it may very well happen in the very near future.

“If you want more of something, subsidize it; if you want less of something, tax it.”

No Auto Industry Bailouts!

No Auto Industry Bailouts!

US Congress and Secretary Paulson,

A free market is a market in which property rights are voluntarily exchanged at a price arranged completely by the mutual consent of sellers and buyers. If the seller, or the buyer, finds that a business decision has less than desirable consequences, we believe it is the responsibility of the party involved to find a solution to the problem.

Forcing taxpayers to pay for bad business decisions is not the solution. Nor is it the American way.

When our elected officials choose to spend our money in an effort to interfere with the free market system, without our direct consent, we strongly consider it to be an act that is against the will of the American people.

If you vote to inject taxpayer dollars in to the private sector to bail businesses out of the result of bad decisions, clearly, you are voting against the American foundations of free markets. We, the people, did not get them into this mess and we should not be responsible for getting them out.

I demand the Congress and Secretary Paulson act AGAINST any and all bail outs of the private sector. We understand that the argument for this bail out is that it will ultimately be cheaper than if jobs were lost in this economy. However, the question needs to be asked, “Where will this stop?”

If you support this, I will do everything in my power to remove you from office before you can give away any more of our money to failed businessmen.

Signed, Pappy !!!

SIGN THE PETITION NOW!

Morning Stroll and a Thought

Now it is ready to eat.

Did a quick mile this morning then after a reasonable rest walked for an hour. Won't go to gym till after lunch today. Nori needs car. A tad cooler this morning!! After the mile I went and got some gloves out of the car. Now I carry an extra shirt, wind breaker and a pair of gloves in the car so I will stay comfy of my strolls.

Now it is ready to eat.
Sorry I haven't had many interesting pics lately. Funny I was is Trader Joe's yesterday and now that I think of it there were plenty of interesting subjects there.

“Ten Commandments for a Responsible Pet Owner as Dictated by the Pet . "
****************************************************************
1. My life is likely to last only 10-15 Years. Any Separation from you will be Painful.
2. Give me time to understand what You want of me.
3. Place your trust in me. It is crucial for my well-being.
4. Don't be angry with me for long and don't lock me up as punishment. You have your work, your friends, your entertainments but I have, only You .
5. Talk to me. Even if I don't understand your words I Do understand your Voice when speaking to me.
6. Be aware that however you treat Me I will never forget it.
7. Before you hit me, before you strike me, remember that I have teeth that could easily crush the bones in your hand and yet choose not to bite you.
8. Before you scold me for being lazy or un-cooperative Ask yourself if something might be bothering Me. Perhaps I'm not getting the right food, I have been in the sun too long, or my heart might be getting old, or weak.
9. Please take Care of me when I grow old. You too will grow old.
10. On the difficult journey, on the Ultimate difficult Journey, go with me,... please . Never say you can't bear to Watch . Don't make me face This Alone . Everything is easier for me if You are there, because I Love You so.
Take a moment Today to Thank God for your companions. Enjoy and take good care of Them . Life would be a much duller, less joyful thing Without God's Critters.

Morning Start

Wow this morning while walking I had a stumble. While I recovered and I did, I got a cramp in my left leg inside the prosthetic. WOW!!! I can't just yank the thing off and rub the cramp. Man oh man I couldn't move for 2 or 3 minutes. Then when I did I had to be careful not to aggravate the cramp. I did aggravate it several times so I had to figure out a way to walk, that didn't make the cramp start up again. Actually it was kinda funny after a couple tries. LOL Well I got it and then found a place to sit and relax a while. It all worked out. I think it is this speed thing. So I will keep working on it.

Today's Thought..Walk and Stroll

Breakfast !!! Wow great!!

A liberal is someone who feels a great debt to his fellow man, which debt he proposes to pay off with your money.
I hope we don't bail out the Auto Industry. They can reorganize and redesign as did the Airlines several years ago.

A Self Portrait after my walk this morning.... This morning I walked at the park where I started. It is close to the house, and has several benches. I will be doing a fast mile and then just stroll as much as I feel like. I will start at the gym in the "Activities Center for 2 weeks and see how it goes. If it works out I will go find a new park to eval in 2 weeks.

Thought for Today .. Happy People

These are the Pretty Happy People ;p

Several columns this week rips Hapless Hank Paulson and his flock of sheeple in Washington. The latest headlines suggest that the auto bailout is in trouble. But don’t get your hopes up too high. All the gutless Politicians will cave. And no matter what euphemism they use, to hide the truth you and I will pay for it.

Remember the inherent blessing of socialism is the equal sharing of misery.

Get ready to share some...

That is why I always hang out with all these Pretty Happy People ;p

Thought for Today

I have a new friend Katye (weird spelling) She too is a real Happy Gal!! Always Bubbley! Anyway she invited Bonita to go with her to Mesquite Monday to jump. Katye loves to jump and knows all the right folks. She jumps as often as she can. This is a good picture of her on a jump.

Thought for Today

Pap, on his Iron Mule @ 90mph NW bound on 95

An old prospector walks his tired old mule into a western town one day. He'd been out in the desert for about six months without a drop of whiskey.
He walked up to the first saloon he came to and tied his old mule to the hitch rail. As he stood there brushing some of the dust from his face and clothes, a young gunslinger walked out of the saloon with a gun in one hand and a bottle of whiskey in the other.
The young gunslinger looked at the old man and laughed, saying, 'Hey old man, have you ever danced?' The old man looked up at the gunslinger and said, 'No, I never did dance. I just never wanted to.'
A crowd had gathered by then and the gunslinger said, 'Well, you old fool, you're gonna' dance now,' and started shooting at the old man's feet. The old prospector was hopping around and everybody was laughing. When the gunslinger fired his last bullet, he holstered his gun and turned around to go back into the saloon.
The old man reached up on the mule, drew his shotgun, and pulled both hammers back making a double clicking sound. The gunslinger heard the sound and everything got quiet. The crowd watched as the gunslinger slowly turned around looking down both barrels of the shotgun.
The old man asked, 'Did you ever kiss a mule's ass?'
The gunslinger swallowed hard and said, 'No, but I've always wanted to.'
The lessons from this story are:
1. Don't waste ammunition.
2. Don't mess with old people.

Today's Thought...

I am going to visit with Bonita this morning and then go see some friends at the Town Center Bar and Grill.

Well I had a pretty good physical week. I am doing ok, and am deciding if I would like to join the gym at the Activity Center, on Allen. I think I will try it out for a week or 2 and see what I think.

My Thought Today Is

For the first time in 32 years, Democrats got more than 50 percent of the country to vote for their candidate in a national election, and now everyone wants to lecture the Republican Party on how to win elections. Liberal Republicans have joined them, and both groups are hoping no one will notice that we just lost this election by running the candidate they chose for us.

All the liberals who had spent years praising McCain all voted for Obama. Independents voted for Palin or voted against Obama. No one outside of McCain's immediate family was specifically voting for McCain.

Why in the world would anyone ask a Liberal how to get a Conservative elected?

Thanks Ann

Morning Stroll and a Thought

Whew now it is ready to eat !!! So I'll get after it.

Now I have made 4375 steps 2.7 miles on my walk I need to get this ready to eat!!
