I am a Spaceman this Sunday. Under too much info... I do in fact have a pimple where my prosthetic contacts my residual limb. Three of them in different levels of maturity. So I will be dealing with the pain and problems of infection for a while. Dadburnit I have been lucky this summer. Oh Well...

Pappy, after reading your blog regarding the pimples, I contacted another friend, who is also an amputee. I asked him what he did regarding pimples and such. He gave me two websites, one which offers what he says is a very good product for the skin. Check this out, he says you should already be quite aware of this product, but to send the information anyway, just in case. Hope this is OK with you, and that you don't concider what I've done as a pain in your ass...

Chess, You leave a comment any time. LOL I don't use a sock on this prosthesis. I am gonna try something like "Mole Skin" for a couple days.
