Who really won here?
This is a victory for the hysterical Oprah Winfrey, the mad racist preacher
Jeremiah Wright, the US mainstream media who abandoned any sense of
objectivity long ago. Also Europeans who despise America largely because they
depend on her. A victory for comics who claim to be dangerous and fearless but would
not dare attack genuinely powerful special interest groups, like anti gun or
pro abortion, SAID, to mention a few…
A victory for Obama-worshipers everywhere. A victory for the cult of the
cult. A man who has done little with his life, however has written about his
achievements as if he had found the cure for cancer in between winning a
marathon and building a nuclear reactor with his teeth. Victory for style
over substance, hyperbole over history, rabble-raising over reality.
A victory for Hollywood , the most dysfunctional community in the world.
Victory for Streisand, Spielberg, Soros, Moore, and Sarandon. Victory for
those who prefer welfare to will and interference to independence. For
those who settle for group think and herd mentality and sheep rather than those who
fight for individual initiative and the right to be out of step with meager
political fashion.
Victory for a man who is no friend of freedom. He and his people have
already stated that media has to be controlled so as to be balanced,
without realizing the extraordinary irony of that statement. Like most
liberal zealots, the Obama worshipers constantly speak of Fox and
Limbaugh, when the vast bulk of television stations and newspapers are
drastically liberal and anti-conservative.
Senior Democrat Chuck Schumer said that just as pornography should be
censored, so should talk radio. In other words, one of the few free and
open means of popular expression may well be cornered and beaten by
bullies who even in triumph cannot tolerate any criticism and opposition.
A victory for those who believe the state is better qualified to raise
children than the family, for those who prefer teachers' unions to
teaching and for those who are naively convinced that if the West is
sufficiently weak towards its enemies, war and terror will dissolve as
quickly as the tears on the face of a leftist celebrity.
A victory for social democracy even after most of Europe has come to
the painful conclusion that social democracy leads to mediocrity, failure,
unemployment, inflation, higher taxes and economic stagnation. A
victory for intrusive lawyers, banal sentimentalists, social extremists
and urban snobs.
This is a victory for Socialism. The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. However under the name of ‘liberalism’ 'Hope' and 'Change' they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without even knowing how it happened. –
My my my, .. This may well happen in the very near future.

Good Lord man you have said this soooo well. You are but so right on everything you have just stated. And one day the left will doit's dictation of rights right here in blog land. One day. I think he was just hoping for a position. He is more shocked than us to have won. Has to at some point wondered about the mind set of the majority. Then it went to his head. This guy knows not a thing. This is why he has brought back the Clinton folks. Like Hillery what does she have. I just don't get it.
Well you have to remember 57 million voted against him. There were several conservatives stayed home because they were not happy with the LIBERAL McCain. He voted more with dems than with conservatives over the past 20 years,except the WAR.
Half of the 63 million that voted for him know nothing about him or anything else for that matter and the other 1/2 knew exactly what they were doing.

Webster suggested I come visit and I'm glad I did. If you scroll through my blog archives some time, you'll find I'm right on the same page as you. My post-inauguration thoughts drew over 40 comments - the most I've ever gotten on one post, and I've been doing my blog just over a year now. Much of what I've said there and in other posts is echoed by you here.
One Obama supporter who argued with me actually wanted to know just how I could refer to Obama as a socialist. I cringed. I've never seen such blind hysteria in my life, and if it wasn't for Jay Leno, I'd have a much harder time processing it. What does he have to do with it? Ever see when he does "Jay Walking?" He'll just pick people at random off the streets and ask questions that you'd expect most adults would know the answers too, except they don't.
It's really scary to see just how incredibly stupid the general public is.
"Who is Condoleeza Rice?"
"Uh, er, isn't that like, um, you know, that stuff they make in New Orleans...you know, um, yeah, Jambalaya!"
God help us.
It does, unfortunately, explain a great many things, including why this country is now on an express train going straight to hell.
