Saturday ...

I will start all this with a cat in the box... and you can't see him..... LOL

Saturday Morning Brunch Here we have all the fixens for a Tomato, Baloney Sandwich. Enjoy the manufacturing process.

Another view not quite all the fixens

This is almost a good picture of my pepper grinder. On the left is a brass container. It is a middle eastern coffee bean grinder made of heavy Brass. I use it to grid pepper corns works well! There is the Bread oh the little wooden bowel on the bottom is my salt, it is sea salt not too fine and the the Light Mayo.

I took this one to take a bit of time on my Avacado Salad. I made a pretty good batch. I have enough for about the size serving I have here for several days couple servings a day. 2 or 3 Roma tomatoes, those are the pear shaped rather small tomato. In the pic above of tomatoes they are the orange / redish ones on the right and botom of the picture. Then 5 of those tiny Avacados 2 small green onions chopped fine 2 garlic cloves pretty goos sized chopped fine a little olive oil salt and pepper then I have some hot sauce from the orient I sprinkle a tiny dab of that in the fold softly so as not to smash it all up into mush, and you got my salad.

Same picture I just backed up a tad I like em both so you get em both LOL

Now we have the bread prepared and ready for the next set of ingredients. Mayo on 1 and 1/2 Mayo 1/2 mustard on the other. Shoot looks great right here!!!** Not a bad shot of the Avocado Salad here too. Man o man those Avocados are great!! Tiny little bastards but great tasting!!

I now have the Bologna 2 pieces folded and placed on the bread slice with the mustard and Mayo. Here is where I would put the slice of Wlla Walla Onion in the folds of the balogna. Now deciding the placement of the slices of tomato for max coverage!!

Last step of preparations before I slap the 2 pieces top to bottom together. Again we can see all the ingredients minus vinegar. I emptied the bottle and rinsed it out put it in recycle without any thoughts of my pictures. Anyway looks scrumptious all ready Ha?!!!>

Here I think I have all of what is in the samich, no not quite vinegar is missing.

From left to right top to bottom, we have Glass of Pomegranate juice, Steak rub, I like to sprinkle a tiny bit of that on my tomatoes, then olive oil, the brass container has pepper corns in it. It is a coffee grinder but it makes a great pepper grinder. Next to that is the little wooden bowel in it is sea salt. Bologna, Best Foods light Mayonnaise, Grey Poupon Dijon Mustard.

Next row a Bamboo cutting board, loose tomatoes, SAMICH, Knives, and Avocado Salad.

Now we have a nice close up of the bounty of my morning labors. You cans see the texture of the bread. It is quit good, cheap too. When eaten without all of my dressings it is a touch sweet.

Another look at the finished product LOL Brunch on a Saturday. Who would think you could build a good tomato samich in March on this end of the equator... LOL

Well I have it all ready to eat. I have nibbled both the lose tomatoes and the Avocado Salad and the bread is soaking up the tomatoe juice, vinegar and olive oil.

I will try today

I have not been able to figure out how to post this blog backwards LOL.

Holy Cow that was great!!! I don't know where those tomatoes came from but that was a sandwich to die for. I could have done without the baloney, but it was reduced fat and still quite tasty. I wish I could find a Walla Walla Onion to go on that sammmmichhhhh....
