Healthcare

There are horrible things in life you simply have to laugh at… otherwise you'll be angry all of the time. One of these things is the great American crime known as health care reform.

The bill – stuffed with pork so our politicians can buy votes – is being rammed through Congress at breakneck speed. The 2,000+ page bill is too long for anyone to fully read and think about it. The debates and votes are coming too fast and furious for anyone to spend plenty of time thinking about the long-term consequences of the boondoggle.

Bravo to the Wall Street Journal for its excellent coverage of healthcare reform. As we head off the cliff, the paper just published another excellent critique of the bill. Have a read, shake your head, make sure to laugh it off, and prepare for crippling taxes and debt.
