It Looks Like Racism to me

These are Judge Sotomayor‘s words in complete context.
“Whether born from experience or inherent physiological or cultural differences, a possibility I abhor less or discount less than my colleague Judge Cedarbaum, our gender and national origins may and will make a difference in our judging. Justice O’Connor has often been cited as saying that a wise old man and wise old woman will reach the same conclusion in deciding cases. I am not so sure Justice O’Connor is the author of that line since Professor Resnik attributes that line to Supreme Court Justice Coyle. I am also not so sure that I agree with the statement. First, as Professor Martha Minnow has noted, there can never be a universal definition of wise. Second, I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn’t lived that life.”

"If it quacks"

Sotomayor’s words in context are clearly much worse than the line that is being reported by Main Stream Media (MSM). According to this statement Sotomayor assumes that whether a Latina woman has experience or not, because of her inherent physiological and cultural differences that a Latina woman has, automatically makes her decisions superior to that of a white males’. This is raciest in itself.

This statement presents major problems with how this judicial philosophy would effect her judicial decisions. Would her decisions always favor a Latina woman or a woman with inherent physiological and cultural characteristics?

If a white man had the reverse of this statement his nomination would have been dead in the water? There is a double standard here in our society and the general public today allows for this reverse discrimination. By allowing or accepting reverse discrimination we believe two wrongs make a right.

We as citizens of the US should not be advocating for any form of racism. Racism is intrinsically wrong. Why not just devotion and loyalty to the LAW as it is written?

American Thinker, writer Brian Garst has an article that comes right to the point.

Much has been made of Sotomayor's statements that Latina women can be expected to make better judicial decisions than white males. While it's true that the statement is inherently racist, though not of the hateful sort that stains America's past, the debate to date has mostly missed the larger problem: her statement reveals a judicial philosophy that elevates personal preferences over adherence to the letter of the law. That we are presently mired in a discussion of the former at the expense of the latter is a testament to the destructive power of identity politics. It is even more disappointing that a President uniquely positioned to transcend such old, tired debates of the past has instead chosen to perpetuate them for political gain.

D-Day Thought

I am so sick of all of Obama's Apologies !!!

No Apologies in this one!!!

If you are just sitting around this guy has put together a sound track of most of "O"'s Apologies.
He compared several past speeches with "O" 's Apologies. Pretty well put together.

Then he put together his Apologies in a Platters Song. It was very good. About the middle of the Fri Show if you just want to scroll and find it. About 40 minutes into the show.

Audio Rewind 06/05

Michael Barry of KTRH in Houston fills in for Mark. Why is the President talking down on America and Israel, and apologizing for what we've done?

BACK DOOR GUN REGISTRATION?

Senate Bill SB-2099 will require us to put on our 2009 1040 federal tax form
ALL guns that you have or own. It may require fingerprints and a tax of
$50 per gun.

This bill was introduced on Feb. 24. This bill will become public
knowledge 30 days after it is voted into law. This is an amendment to the
Internal Revenue Act of 1986. This means that Senator Chris Dodd's CORRUPT
Finance Committee can pass this without the Senate voting on it at all.
[O'D NOTE: I'm wonderin' Y "sweet " Cong. Barney Frank & the
EQUALLY-CORRUPT House Financial Services Committee isn't "out" on this item
too...]

The full text of the proposed amendment is on the U.S. Senate homepage,
http://www.senate.gov/ You can find the bill by doing a search by the bill
number, SB-2099.

Playboy and Rape

AOL, which is owned by TimeWarner – a company that has a massive distribution deal with Playboy.

Therein lies the rub. Guy Cimbalo who penned a column that advocates Rape fantasies at minimum… and incites thoughts of violent, nonconsensual sex on the face of his column… and at worst, provides permission to the crazy misogynistic bastard who will identify a virtuous woman and rape her. This is the man the corporate geniuses at AOL, Playboy, and TimeWarner are defending.

Media Lizzy

This Gal really writes well.

I have been watching this story from the beginning. I was going to say something about Obama's speech the other day about "Women Rights" in the Middle East. Compare his words against the fact that ... Hell they still "Stone" women and "Behead" women for little of nothing.

Anyway back to this story, take the time to read this lady's article, she has links to the original and several follow ups.

An Example

I was a "Kung Fu" fan back in early 70's I enjoyed several of his many other appearances in his long career.

Rest in peace ...

Kung Fu star David Carradine dies...

ABC News

BANGKOK (WABC) -- Kung Fu and Kill Bill star David Carradine has been found dead in a hotel room in Bangkok.

Carradine, 72, was there to shoot a new movie, his agent said.

His personal manager, Chuck Binder, confirmed his death this morning, saying the actor had been was in great spirits.

A news report in Bangkok said he was found hanged in his hotel room and was believed to have committed suicide, but Binder said he believed Carradine died of natural causes.

He was born on December 8, 1936 as John Arthur Carradine, the eldest son of a revered Hollywood family that included his father, John Carradine, and his brothers, Bruce, Keith and Robert are also actors.

Carradine was best known for his role as Kwai Chang Caine, a Shaolin priest traveling the 1800s American frontier West in the TV series "Kung Fu," which aired in 1972-75.

He reprised the role in a mid-1980s TV movie and played Caine's grandson in the 1990s syndicated series "Kung Fu: The Legend Continues."

He returned to the top in recent years as the title character in Quentin Tarantino's two-part saga "Kill Bill."

Over the years, he appeared in over 200 motion pictures and television dramas, and numerous plays. He was also a producer, director, writer, and composer for the screen as well.
