Band Of Brothers Hero, Darrell ‘Shifty’ Powers Dies


Darrell “Shifty” Powers, one of the soldiers depicted in “Band of Brothers,” passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2009.

    I am sure there will be many who will miss him here...but a great many more who will rejoice at the homecoming he will receive when he arrives at the gates of heaven.

    I didn't realize that he had passed away. God Bless Him and E company...truly great American Patriots. It is what the world needs more of.
